I know it's been a while, but I need all of your help.  My father went into the hospital today.  I need you all to be praying for him.  He hates hospitals, but for the next four days - he has to stay there.  They are running a lot of tests - including an MRI.  On Monday or Tuesday (not sure yet which day), he will be having surgery on his pancreas.  They are checking for cancer and placing a stent in there - to open up a blockage.  Please be praying for him.  It's hard not to worry, but I know that He is in control of all things - and in the end it's His will to be done ... not mine.  Thanks everyone.

Hey Everyone,

What a week!  In a matter of a week, I have gotten a job, watched my nephews two different nights, had the talk (dtr), and determined which fellowships I am going to contact about speaking.  I have slept about 4 hours a night for the past week and I must say - I'M EXHAUSTED!!!  Who knew working as a secretary and trying to get back to VN would be so tiring!  However, I do love seeing my nephews - they are the highlight of my week.  The next goal - in the area of kids - is to meet my best gal pal from high school's little one.  I just went onto her website and saw pictures - SO CUTE!!!  I was surprised at how big she is - she's only 5 months old!  I wanted to let you know that I am staying Stateside for a little while.  I wanted to stay home to help my family and to build up a bigger area of support to go back to VN.  My great grandmother died in May, and I missed everything.  That hit me really hard, and so I decided, along with other factors, that I wanted to stay Stateside for a little while.  So, I'll be here until January 2008 or August 2008 - I'm not sure just yet.  How many of you are suprised by that one?!  I love VN and I can't wait to go back, but I am enjoying time here too :)  Have a great weekend everyone and I'll talk to you again soon!  Blessings!

Hey Everyone!

Ok ... I am the worst ... I keep forgetting to send an update.  So, here is the latest with Tabbie.

One - I leave for the States for my summer leave in about six weeks.

Two - My nephew, Kevin, turned three on Saturday.

Three - My parents have been married for 31 years as of this Tuesday!

Four - I am falling head-over-heels in love with ... (fill in appropriate response here )

Five - I am blessed beyond anything I could ever have imagined!

So, that's about it.  There isn't much going on in my life.  I study the Word.  I exercise.  I teach.  I talk to friends and students.  I live and work in Vietnam.  Outside of that ... my life is relatively normal.

I just thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive over here ;)  I'm about to start my second term.  So, I'm in the process of preparing for the term, and seeing all my students again!  It's a lot of fun!  Such a great life I lead following Him!

I don't normally do any type of test thingy, but I thought Abbey's was cute ... so I took it too ...

I tried to put it on here in the cool way, but you'll have to settle for the typed out simplified version ... the others wouldn't work.

Exotic yet ordinary.
People think they've had enough of you, but they're back for more in an hour.
